On Thursday, we unexpectedly lost our dear colleague and friend, Wes Rucker. He was 43 years old. Wes loved doing this podcast and covering Tennessee sports. But what he loved above all else was his family. He leaves behind his wife, Lauren, his son, Hank, and a baby girl expected this spring. Wes proudly talked about them on 10 at 3 nearly every episode. Longtime listeners to Wes' podcasts over the years know he spoke honestly about what he knew and about what he felt, particularly when it came to the Vols. Those were his rules: He would be unapologetically honest, but fair. His takes and quips earned him respect, and sometimes ire, from fans on both sides of the field. In bad times and good for the Vols, Wes prided himself on never sugarcoating things, but also never selling the teams short. Please join us in honoring Wes as we sit down to talk about his life and share some of our favorite memories of him.
